This is my seventh visit to China. Each visit has its own unique flavor. New friends, new places, and new challenges. But, one thing is consistent from year to year. Our hosts are always so gracious and kind. They cater to our every need and take such good care of us. This year is no exception. I am staying with David, Nancy, and their eight year old daughter, Linny, and they have blessed me every day. They provide a comfortable home, good meals and conversation, and a bandaid when I scrape my knee. We share many commonalities, but we have very different world views, particularly regarding some of the big questions about life. Please remember them and join me when I ask for favor for them.
As for camp, we are in day three. Everything is going well. While there are often challenges to overcome, we work together as a team and support and encourage one another. Please come back to the blog often, as we will continue posting pictures and stories about our adventures in Doumen!
